Boast in YOUR Weakness and Give Glory to GOD
Corinthians 12:9-10: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Ch

rist’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

I can testify to these words. My nature is somewhat shy, reserved, and uncomfortable in the “spotlight.” I am a homebody and yet God is asking me to do public speaking with my new job. I do a good job of it (Thanks to God) but it is never easy for me.
So I ask you this: Is our Lord asking you to use a new gift that makes you feel uncomfortable? Maybe you don’t see the connection between what He is asking of you and how it will apply to the edification of the church. You don’t need to. Obedience is all that He requires and hesitation is rebellion. He may reveal the purpose of this “training” later on and then again, maybe not.
If there is something you have been asked to do and a nagging feeling just won’t go away, it probably means God wants you to act on it and the Holy Spirit is reminding you of the request. Do not let a fear of your human weakness get in your way. He takes our weaknesses and makes them our strength to the glory of His Son Jesus Christ.<img class=”size-full wp-image” src=”http://weepingintodancing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/spiritual-muscles.jpeg?w=217″ alt=”Image” />
