Overcoming Difficult Trials

GOD USES MIRACLE GROW IN HIS GARDEN

Do you ever feel like a plant on MIRACLE GROW?

Well, if you have been reading this blog, you know I like to garden. The Lord speaks BUSCHELS of analogies to me through my garden.

Lately, I have been feeling like God dumped A LOT of Miracle Grow on me. My recovery has been miraculous. (Thank You Jesus!)

I have a new job as an Associate Trainer for a Company promoting a Classroom Management Plan (I do Staff Development for teaching staff).
I have overcome my fear of public speaking and was invited to speak at two Educational Conferences in the past four months. Learning about IPhone’s, Laptops, Squares, Face Book, Creating a Blog, and thinking about Twitter has been a stretch for me. I really am technologically challenged. Moving to a new state and living in four different homes in a year was not too much fun. But you know….. Here it comes….. I am learning to grow where God plants me. (Hee!)

So Dear Reader,
If you are feeling STRETCHED in several different directions or maybe feeling like God is asking you to grow faster than you like….. I UNDERSTAND! Just remember, He won’t ask anything of you that you can’t give or do. He made you and He is so proud of his garden full of pretty FLOWERS. Let Him pour on the Miracle Grow and prune you a bit. You will be amazed at the quick and speedy growth in your walk with HIM.

Isaiah 68:11
The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

  1. What a fun and important job. As a former teacher, when new things came down the pipeline, we always looked forward to somebody coming in to train us, so we’d have a clue what we were into. God knows how to do his job. He planted you in a good place.

  2. Teachers have such a big job. Sadly, with all the budget cuts, School Districts are adopting new programs with little or no training for their staff. I do offer followup so I sure hope some SD take advantage of this opportunity.
