Overcoming Difficult Trials

My Prayer Garden

“The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” Isaiah 58:11

God placed it on my heart to create a prayer garden full of roses. So, I ordered 18 English roses in February and put lavender in-between the bushes right after I put them in the ground. My first rose bloomed this week. It is a light lavender rose called ANGEL FACE.

My hope in writing this post is that you take some time tonight, or tomorrow, to reflect on how you are living your life. Are you caught up in the cares of the world? Have you been living a sanctified life for HIM, or are you walking off the path of life? Are you serving others and going to church? Have you spent time in the Word lately and how is your prayer life?

My prayer garden reminds me to meditate on God. I offer up prayers when I water the roses. I think of the many blessings in my life and how God has sent a comforter to lead and guide me. The Holy Spirit is my help. He is your help too.

I encourage you to praise God for the people in your life and for the path you are now traveling. There are no coincidences. You are where you are for a reason. The people in your life have crossed your path for a purpose.

Consider the many blessings in your life and rest in the love of God. The joy of the Lord is your strength. Take time to fellowship with Him today. He’s waiting!
